sunday morning

Spending a lazy Sunday morning at home.. and playing around with my new tripod that I bought for only ¥100. And I love the warm light that seeps in through my curtains in the morning. :)

Have a lovely Sunday. x

so retro

As promised, the photos from my retro photo shoot, the first shoot of the year for me! I'm very pleased with how the photos turned out. I had never done a retro/vintage-inspired shoot before, so I had a great time modeling both outfits. I'm starting to realize that modeling is like acting - it's important to really immerse yourself into the role you are assigned and get creative with expressions and posing.  Being able to play both the male & female roles in this particular photo shoot was an awesome experience. My stylist said she bought everything at vintage or second-hand shops in Tokyo! How cool is that?

On a separate note, I don't actually smoke - the cigarette was just a prop! :)

girl talk

I'm so excited to finally post the photos from my last photo shoot of 2012! I was fortunate enough to work with an amazing & talented team of artists - we all had a similar vision of where we wanted to take the shoot so it went really smoothly. Theme: girls' talk. But to make it more interesting, the stylist had two different outfits for Noemie and I - a girly one and a boyish one. And I was thrilled to be able to be the "boy" in the shoot. Is it weird that I love wearing boyish clothes?

As mentioned in my previous post, more photos coming soon! Thanks for reading<3
